UAB Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Spring Trip With 5-2 Setback Against College of Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The UAB women's tennis team was outlasted 5-2 by the College of Charleston on Wednesday afternoon.
The Blazers (7-6) fell behind when the Cougars won the doubles point.
In singles, UAB got victories from Annalisa Smith 6-3, 6-3 on Court 4 and Vanessa Mellynchuk on Court 6, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2
The next home series is the upcoming weekend. UAB hosts No. 32 Florida State on March 18 (rescheduled from March 17) at 11 a.m followed by the Conference USA opener against UTSA on March 19 at noon. Both matches are at the Hoover Met.
