UAB Women’s Tennis Defeats Alabama A&M 7-0

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The UAB women's tennis team defeated in-state foe Alabama A&M 7-0 on Thursday afternoon.
 
In doubles, Enya Ratkic and Vanessa Mellynchuk easily cruised to a 6-0 win. Maggie White and Sydney Clark were 6-3 winners to clinch the point.
 
Five of the six singles points were decided in straight sets. Adela Wasserbauerova won 6-2, 6-4. Clark was a 6-2, 6-1 winner. Mackenzie White won in a 10-point third set breaker. Mellynchuk was a 6-0, 6-3 winner. Annalisa Smith defeated her opponent 7-5, 7-5 and Ratkic was a 60-, 6-4 victor.
 
The next home match on March 4 against Lipscomb at the Hoover Met.
