UAB dominated possession of the ball, holding it for 59 percent of the match. The Blazers outshot the Gamecocks 13-9. Regan Kommor, Sarah Buse and Addison Cline joined Kiss and Hudgens with shots on target.
The Blazers season-opener is on Aug.22nd at Samford. UAB's first home match is Aug. 25 against College Cup participant TCU at newly renovated BBVA Field.
