Blazers Take on No. 40 Charlotte

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's tennis (14-6, 1-1 AAC) travels to No. 40 Charlotte (16-4) on Friday, April 4. First Serve is set for 9 a.m. CT.
The Blazers took down Jacksonville State 4-1 on Tuesday. The Green and Gold opened the match by taking the doubles point. On Court 1, Vanessa Mellynchuk teamed up with Mackenzie White to secure the victory. Nera Tesankic and Kristyna Damaskova earned a win on Court 2.
UAB was able to capture three of the six singles points to secure the victory. Mellynchuk, Tesankic and Klara Kajabova were the three Blazers to earn singles wins. Mellynchuk has now claimed 12 singles victories, while it was Tesankic's 10th win of the season.
