Women’s Tennis Falls at Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. – UAB women's tennis (14-8, 1-2 AAC) fell at Kennesaw State (7-7) 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls opened the match by taking the doubles point on Courts 1 and 2.
Doubles
1. Ema Baraniakova/Sofia Madrid (KSUW) def. Vanessa Mellynchuk/Mackenzie White (UAB) 6-3
2. Sophia Unger/Izabelle Persson (KSUW) def. Kristyna Damaskova/Nera Tesankic (UAB) 6-4
3. Laura Nadaska/Che Nel (KSUW) vs. Enya Ratkic/Maria Paz Ospina (UAB) 6-5, unfinished
Kennesaw State was able to secure the match with wins on Courts 1, 2 and 3. Nera Tesankic was the only Blazer to earn a victory on Court 5. The win marked Tesankic's 11th victory of the season.
