UAB Heads to New Orleans for 3-Game Set with Tulane

NEW ORLEANS - UAB Baseball (18-15, 3-6) heads down to New Orleans this weekend to play Tulane (21-13, 5-4) for a 3-game series at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

UAB fell to Mississippi State on Tuesday night, 8-3. The Blazers and Bulldogs each had seven hits apiece, but State made the most of their opportunities with runners on base as they had nine hits in advancement opportunities.
THIS TIME LAST YEAR
The Blazers and Green Wave squared off last season for the first time in 10 years. UAB took two out of three games from Tulane as the Green and Gold won the rubber match, 7-6. Colin Daniel pitched eight innings and struck out eight in the Sunday contest.
