Men's Soccer Hosts Louisville in Exhibition Match on Saturday

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's soccer team will host Louisville in an exhibition match on Saturday evening at BBVA Field. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on CUSA.TV.
The match will be four 30-minute quarters and no overtimes will be played even if the score is tied.
The Blazers have 13 upperclassmen on the 2021 roster which includes All-Conference performers Joseph Buete, Cale Loughrey and Shane DeLeon. UAB returns 70% of its scoring from last season.
Louisville is coming off a 2020-21 season that saw them finish is second place in the ACC Atlantic Division and return 15 players from its spring roster.
"Kickin' it with the Blazers" is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 15. The free event will be held at BBVA Field and gives fans a chance to meet the players and coaches as well as get autographs. Additionally, there will be a clinic and scrimmage where participants play alongside current UAB soccer athletes.
Gates open at 2:30 p.m. with the event starting at 3 p.m., lasting approximately two hours.
Free shirts and water bottles will be given to the first 100 youths in attendance.
Men's Soccer season tickets are on sale by purchasing the 2021-22 Gold Card for $65 here. The 2021-22 Gold Card will get you access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for Conference USA or NCAA Championship events.
