UAB Men’s Soccer Exhibition Match Vs. Louisville Ends Early Due to Weather

BIRMINGHAM – Saturday night's UAB/Louisville exhibition match ended early due to weather in the Birmingham Area.
The match was called with the Cardinals ahead 4-1 in the 83rd minute. The match was to be played with four 30 minute quarters.
Nathaniel St. Louis got the Blazers on the board first when he took a feed from Brooks Rice and found the back of the net in the 19th minute.
UL got the equalizer in the 30th minute and added goals in 43rd, 69th and 75th minutes.
The next match will be Wednesday night when UAB hosts Montevallo. Kickoff time is 7 p.m.
"Kickin' it with the Blazers" is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 15. The free event will be held at BBVA Field and gives fans a chance to meet the players and coaches as well as get autographs. Additionally, there will be a clinic and scrimmage where participants play alongside current UAB soccer athletes.
Gates open at 2:30 p.m. with the event starting at 3 p.m., lasting approximately two hours.
Free shirts and water bottles will be given to the first 100 youths in attendance.
Men's Soccer season tickets are on sale by purchasing the 2021-22 Gold Card for $65 here. The 2021-22 Gold Card will get you access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for Conference USA or NCAA Championship events.
