Men’s Soccer Earns Three All-Conference Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The American Conference has announced that Humphrey Doh, Ole Jessen, and Frederik Danslet have earned spots on the league's postseason awards list for the 2025 season.
Humphrey Doh was named to the American Conference Second Team after appearing in all 15 games for UAB, starting 14 of them. Doh recorded eight points on the season, with five of those coming in conference play. He scored a highlight-reel half volley from 30 yards out in UAB's 4-0 win over Missouri State and added three assists during the conference slate. Doh received American Conference honorable mention on September 29 for his performance against Missouri State. Doh also grabbed American Conference honorable mention on September 9 for his three assists against USC Upstate.
Ole Jessen started all eight conference games from his outside back position and made 14 starts overall. The Blazers allowed just three goals over their final three conference matches, with Jessen playing a key role in securing shutouts against Temple and FIU. Jessen received American Conference defensive player of the week honors on September 9th for his two goal performance against USC Upstate.
Frederik Danslet was named to the American Conference All-Freshman Team after playing in all 15 games and starting 13. The center back started all eight conference contests and scored his first collegiate goal in the 4-0 victory over Missouri State. Danslet helped anchor a UAB defense that allowed only three goals in the final three conference games. Danslet scored a goal in UAB's 4-0 win over Missouri State and helped earn the shutout to receive American Conference Honorable Mention.
