BIRMINGHAM – The UAB baseball team welcomes Conference USA opponent Florida Atlantic for a four-game series at Young Memorial Field.
UAB (10-21, 3-9 C-USA) VS. FLORIDA ATLANTIC (16-16, 5-7 C-USA)
Florida Atlantic holds the all-time record, 12-8, over the Blazers. The last meeting between the teams came in 2019 in Birmingham where the Owls took the series, 2-1.
SERIES SCHEDULE
Friday's game has been pushed up three hours to 3 p.m. due to expected weather in the area. Saturday will feature a seven-inning doubleheader set to begin at 1 p.m. The final game of the series is slated for Sunday, with first pitch set for 11:30 a.m.

Game one – RHP Riley Davis (2-3, 3.00 ERA) vs. LHP Hunter Cooley (4-3, 3.86 ERA)

The Owls are coming off a four-game conference series against No. 22 Old Dominion. Florida Atlantic is led at the plate by Nolan Schanuel, who is batting .353, which ranks ninth in the conference. B.J. Murray leads Conference USA with 10 home runs on the season.

Jess Davis has 69 career stolen bases. He sits seventh in program history and needs three more to move into a tie for sixth.
