David Crane is entering his 11th year as "Voice of the Blazers." A Decatur, Ala., native, Crane is a 1994 graduate of the University of Alabama. Crane joined the UAB crew after spending the previous 11 years broadcasting for the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
Crane handles the play-by-play duties for UAB football, men's basketball and baseball. In addition, he serves as host for the football and men's basketball coach's radio and television shows.
