Melissa Cameron, Audria Wood, Kassandra Daniel and Lizzie Hill have anchored the defensive unit and have kept the match played in the opponents end for the majority of the contests.
COACH DEMERS ON THE SEASON
"Our players are extremely excited for our conference season to finally begin. I thought our non-conference schedule helped us in figuring out areas that we excel in and areas that we need to improve. Our goal is to take these areas, focus, learn and become more efficient. Starting off with FAU, who is currently ranked #14 nationally will be a great first test in our adaptability of a program."

The Blazers remain at home hosting UTEP on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
