UAB Spirit Program to hold Tryouts for Blaze

BIRMINGHAM - Are you interested in becoming Birmingham's most beloved mascot, BLAZE? The UAB spirit program is currently searching for two individuals to join our UAB mascot program for the upcoming 2019-2020 year.
Responsibilities for our Mascot Program Include: Home football games, away football games, men's and women's home basketball games, post season appearances, community and campus appearances, and athletic events throughout the year.
$1500 Scholarships are awarded per semester for the Fall and Spring.
Interviews will be held on an individual basis and a physical tryout will follow.
