BIRMINGHAM - The UAB Cheerleading and Golden Girls spirit teams will hold a clinic on April 7th, at the Campus Recreation Center.
Led by Head Cheerleading Coach Cody Sellers and Head Golden Girls Coach Abby Southerland, the clinics will run from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the cost for the one-day event is $55.
The clinics are open to all full-time UAB students – including college transfers from other programs – in addition to high school students grades 9-12.
Current Blazer Cheerleaders and Golden Girls will provide a glimpse into the inner workings of the UAB Spirit program and also answer general questions about college cheerleading and dance.
Additionally, the cheerleaders and Golden Girls will display their talents and simultaneously expose attendees to the college environment.
