**NEW MATCH TIME IS 4:30 P.M.
BIRMINGHAM – UAB returns to play on Thursday afternoon when they face North Texas in the First Round of the Conference USA Championship.
The #12 seed Blazers (6-13) face #5 seed North Texas (11-9) at 4:30 p.m. The four-day event is hosted by Rice and will be held at the George R. Brown Tennis Center in Houston.
Although the Blazers and Mean Green did not play during the regular season, the two squads have met in the championship in 2016 and 2018.
UAB and UNT have three common opponents this season – Marshall, Memphis and Western Kentucky.
The entire C-USA Championship will be streamed live. Both the stream and live stats can be accessed in the box to the right.
