UAB Travels to Kennesaw State for a Weekday Double Header

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Coming off a break after playing 12 games in nine days, the UAB softball team is back in action on Wednesday, March 7, with a double header at Kennesaw State. First pitch for game one is slated for 3:30 p.m. CT. from Bailey Park.
UAB had a tough end to its 12-game stretch going 1-4 during the Louisville Red and Black Classic. The Blazers secured their lone win of the tournament with a 6-3 win over Eastern Illinois as freshman Sarah Crawford went 2-for-4 with four RBI and a two-run home run to spur the Blazers to victory.

Series History
UAB leads the all-time series 13-4 with the Blazers having won on the road six times. The Owls won the last meeting however, on March 3, 2017 at home 8-1.
