UAB fell at home once again, this time getting bested by Tulsa 99-77.
USF is coming off a home loss in overtime to Wichita State, 86-85.
UAB looks to finally break through and win a home conference game and complete the season sweep of the Bulls.

SERIES HISTORY

UAB leads the series 44-21. UAB and USF have been conference foes in three different conferences over the years (1990-91 Sun Belt, 1995-2006 Conference USA, 2023-present American).
USF won the first meeting between the teams 68-66 in UAB's inaugural season in 1978.
These teams have already met once this season, with UAB pulling out a thrilling 109-106 double-overtime victory on the road in Tampa. It was their seventh consecutive win in the series.
The campuses are separated by 598 miles.

GAME NOTES

UAB ranks first in the conference in three different statistical categories (assist/turnover ratio, fast break points, and defensive rebounds per game).
UAB is 25th in the country in fast break points per game with 16.53.
UAB is 21st in rebounds per game grabbing 41.42 and 29th in offensive rebounds per game with 13.63.
UAB does not turn the ball over a lot, just 9.1 times per game which is ranked 5th nationally and first in the American conference
Evan Chatman is 30th in defensive rebounds with 6.21 per game which is also first in the American Conference.
KyeRon Lindsay-Martin is 51st in the nation in offensive rebounds with 4.28, fifth in the conference.
USF is third in the nation in offensive rebounds per game (15.39).
USF leads the nation in free throws attempted per game (28.6) and is second in free throws made per game (21.2).
Josh Omojafo is tied for eighth in the country for free throws made (115).
Andy Kennedy has a 7-0 record as a head coach against South Florida (6-0 at UAB, 1-0 at Cincinnati).
Coach Kennedy has won 12+ conference games the past two seasons at UAB. He has an overall American Conference record of 28-15 in his third season in the conference.

MILESTONE WATCH

KyeRon Lindsay-Martin set a new career high in points in a season (220) following a 15 point Performance against Tulsa.
Daniel Rivera surpassed the 1,000 career point mark against Tulsa. He joins Jacob Meyer and Ahmad Robinson as the only members of the team to reach that mark.
Ahmad Robinson leads the team with 1,251 career points.
Andy Kennedy won his 400th game as a head coach against UNC Asheville. He is the 15th fastest active Division I coach to win 400 games, in just 623 attempts.

Connect Fest: Spring Edition is a student involvement fair that includes a student tailgate from 4:00-5:00 p.m. where students can get ready for the game and explore involvement opportunities. Following the tailgate, students can continue learning about ways to get involved on campus on the concourse from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Participation is limited to students, but fans are welcome to walk through and enjoy the excitement as part of Student Appreciation Night!

Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience during any of UAB's home events at Bartow Arena this season by filling out the UAB Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season.
