Men’s Basketball Announces Home Exhibition Game Against WKU

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB Men's Basketball team will face Western Kentucky in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 29 in Bartow Arena.
UAB played Western Kentucky last year in an exhibition game that saw an 88-79 win for UAB. The Blazers hold a 27-18 overall record against the Hilltoppers with the last regular season matchup coming at Bartow Arena in January 2023. UAB also played at WKU in the 2023 season in February.
"I am looking forward to having one of our longest rivals back in Bartow for our second exhibition," Andy Kennedy said. "The Hilltoppers are returning the game from our exhibition last year at Western Kentucky. Another great opportunity, after Vanderbilt, to test ourselves in preparation for our home opener on November 3rd."
Tickets for the exhibition matchup against Western Kentucky will go on sale to the public on October 14 in conjunction with single game tickets for the 2025-26 season. UAB men's basketball season ticket holders and active Blazer Boosters members will have an exclusive presale for additional 2025-26 single game tickets, including the ability to purchase their season ticket locations for the WKU exhibition, starting on September 26 prior to going on sale to the general public on October 14. More information will be released at a later date.
SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 2025-26 UAB men's basketball season are on sale now. Season ticket packages include all regular season home games and provide the most cost-effective way for fans to attend games at Bartow Arena.
The 2025-26 men's basketball priority seating and parking selection process begins on September 9, 2025, following the September 1 basketball priority seat deadline. New season ticket holders can purchase by clicking here. Season parking passes are available for $120, and both seating locations and parking will be allocated based on the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System. Premium seating is also available, including hospitality access. Fans may also request additional information by clicking here.
UAB employees and UAB Alumni are eligible to receive a 10% discount off the season ticket price by contacting the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1. UAB employees are also able to pay for season ticket packages through payroll deduction.
