UAB’s 2025-26 Conference Opponents Announced

BIRMINGHAM – The American Conference has announced the 2025-26 men's basketball scheduling matrix on Wednesday, showing UAB's home and away conference matchups.
Each school will face six conference opponents both home and away, while taking on the other six schools either at home or on the road only.
The Blazers will face Wichita State, Florida Atlantic, and Rice at home, while traveling on the road to Temple, UTSA, and Charlotte. UAB is 74-15 in the Andy Kennedy era dating back to the 2020-21 season.
UAB will face Memphis, Tulane, South Florida, Tulsa, North Texas, and East Carolina twice during the regular season, both home and away. UAB finished with a 8-6 record against these opponents last year, including three games against Memphis and North Texas.
Andy Kennedy and UAB have made four straight conference Championship games, winning two of those (2022 with Conference USA and 2024 with the American Conference). The Blazers return only two minutes of playing time from Senior Joey Kahn.
Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala. will host the 2026 basketball American Conference Championships in March.
SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 2025-26 UAB men's basketball season are now available. Season ticket packages include all regular season home games and provide the most cost-effective way for fans to attend games at Bartow Arena.
2024-25 season ticket holder renewal applications are available now through uabsports.com leading into the 2025-26 season. The men's basketball priority seating deadline to complete renewal applications is September 1, 2025. New season ticket holders can purchase by clicking here. Season parking passes are available for $120, and both seating locations and parking will be allocated based on the Blazer Boosters Priority Points System following the September 1st deadline. Premium seating is also available, including hospitality access. Fans may also request additional information by clicking here.
UAB employees and UAB Alumni are eligible to receive a 10% discount off the season ticket price by contacting the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1. UAB employees are also able to pay for season ticket packages through payroll deduction.
