Andy Kennedy won his 411th game as a head coach and now ranks 17th among active DI head coaches. He ranks 246th in most Division I wins by a head coach. Kennedy has 145 wins since 2020-21 which is tied for the 12th most wins during that time period.
ALABAMA TURNOVERS
UAB is tied for 2nd in the country in offensive turnover % with 12.7% of possessions ending in turnovers. Four Alabama teams are in the top ten of this category (Alabama, Samford, and South Alabama).

2026-27 Men's Basketball Season Tickets
In January 2026, UAB Athletics made men's basketball season tickets available leading into the Bartow Arena renovations. The pricing and allocation details are included here along with a timeline of important dates to know prior to the 2026-27 basketball season. Fans will select their specific ticket locations during the UAB Basketball priority seating and parking selection process which begins in July of 2026 following a June 30, 2026, basketball priority seat deadline.

COACH KENNEDY IN CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS
- Coach Kennedy has been the four seed or higher in all six years at UAB. This includes three years with Conference USA and three with the American Conference.
- He has an 11-3 record at UAB in conference tournaments and an overall record of 20-14 in conference tournaments during his 19 seasons as a head coach.
- UAB holds a 144-38 record at Legacy Arena, which was formerly the BJCC.
- UAB is 19-5 in conference tournaments inside of the BJCC/Legacy Arena.
- The Blazers are 2-4 since 2015-16 in Legacy.
- UAB has now won ten straight road games (9-0 in conference play), which is the most consecutive road conference wins in UAB history. Nine consecutive conference wins is the most in program history, surpassing the 1981-82 team that won six. The most road games UAB has ever won is 10 during the 2015-16 season. UAB is now the second team to go unbeaten on the road in the American Conference. Houston achieved it in 2022-23 going 9-0.
- The Blazers have won 12 road/neutral games with a 12-2 record. This is the best winning % (.86) in road/neutral games in UAB history.
- UAB was the four seed and USF was the one seed in the 2023-24 tournament the last time UAB won a conference championship. The Blazers also entered that tournament 20-11, which is the same record the Blazers are currently. UAB won the 2023-24 American Championship in its first year in the conference.

- UAB ranks first in the conference in assists/turnover ratio, fastbreak points per game, and turnovers per game. Chance Westry ranks 45th in assists/turnover ratio (2.75).
- UAB is 13th in the country in fast break points per game with 16.23.
- UAB is 18th in the country in rebounds per game grabbing 40.23. They are also 29th in both offensive rebounds per game (13.20) and defensive rebounds per game (27.23).
- UAB takes care of the basketball with just 9.0 turnovers per game which is ranked 7th nationally and 1st in the American Conference.
- Chance Westry leads the conference in assists (162) and assists per game (5.2).
- Evan Chatman is 26th nationally in defensive rebounds with 6.32 per game which is also first in the American Conference. Chatman ranks 34th nationally in total rebounds (276).
- UAB is 2-1 against Tulane and Charlotte this year, with both wins coming on the road. Tulane Beat the Blazers at home on Feb. 15, 56-55.
- Coach Kennedy has won 12+ conference games the past two seasons at UAB. He has an overall American Conference record of 36-18 in his third season in the conference.
- Evan Chatman has scored 10+ points in 6 of the last 8 games including a career high of 22 points performance against Memphis.
- KyeRon Lindsay-Martin is returning to form after suffering an injury against Tulane. He scored back-to-back 12-point performances against Charlotte and East Carolina. He also supposed 5+ rebounds in the last two games.
- Chance Westry was two rebounds shy (against Charlotte) of UAB's first triple double performance since Paul Delaney accomplished the feat back in 2009 against. He's scored 20+ in 4 of the last 5 games.
