BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's basketball head coach Andy Kennedy announced the signing of JUCO guard Dayjaun Anderson on Thursday.
"Dayjaun is a tremendous addition to Blazer basketball." Kennedy said, "He was one of the most efficient scorers in junior college last season. His shot making ability will help him make an immediate impact next season."
The Dayton, Ohio native averaged 17.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 42.5 percent from the field at Triton College while leading the Trojans to a 29-6 record. He scored 20+ points 11 times this season including a career high of 31 points against Shawnee Area while also scoring in double figures in 32 of 35 games. Anderson was recognized as an NJCAA first team All-American following the season.

He began his career at Wright State where he redshirted during the 2023-24 season.
At Ponitz High School, Anderson averaged 18.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game and earned Dayton Public Schools League Most Valuable Player honors.
