Women’s Tennis Travels Down the Road to Samford

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's tennis (4-3) travels down the road to face Samford (5-2) on Wednesday, February 12. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m. CT.
The Blazers defeated Belmont 7-0 on Sunday. UAB opened the match by taking the doubles point. Vanessa Mellynchuk and Klara Kajabova secured a win on Court 1. Nera Tesankic and Enya Ratkic teamed up to take the victory on Court 2.
The Blazers were able to capture all six singles points to secure the 7-0 win. Mellynchuk earned her sixth consecutive win and is now 6-1 on the season.
