Women's Tennis Prepares for Showdown Against LA Tech

Louisiana - The UAB women's tennis team will head down to Louisiana, to play LA Tech on April 6. The match will have live stats which can be accessed here and video which can be accessed here.
The Blazers (12–9) are vying to end the season with a win over LA Tech, who leads the series 7-4. The coaching staff has been diligently preparing and honing the girls' skills in practice sessions this week. The UAB team is brimming with confidence after defeating No. 58 Wichita last weekend. We interviewed head coach Mark Tjia to hear his thoughts on the last match of the season.
"I'm excited to face the next challenge, which is playing LA Tech in a hostile environment," said Tjia. "The team has faced adversity all season long and has continued to improve. We have challenged their bravery, positivity, belief, and toughness, and they have made progress as a unit in every area."
Up next, the Blazers will head to Dallas, Texas, for the American Athletic Conference Championships.
