UAB MBB Adds Transfer Forward Bradley Ezewiro

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy announced the addition of former Saint Louis forward Bradley Ezewiro on Monday. Ezewiro averaged 12.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for the Billikens last season.
"Excited to have Brad join our program." Kennedy said, "He brings additional size, strength, versatility and experience to our front line. We were looking to add a physical presence and big Brad plays physical on both ends of the court. We have recruited Brad a couple of times throughout his journey and we're glad that the third time is the charm for him to be a Blazer."
Ezewiro sat out the first 11 games of the season for Saint Louis due to the transfer rules before the NCAA modified its ruling about athletes with multiple transfers. The 6'9" forward scored in double figures in 16 of his 22 appearances, including three double-doubles.
In only his second appearance of the season, Ezewiro scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds against NC State. He added a career high 20 points against Davidson. The Torrance, California native finished the year shooting .534 from the field.
Prior to his time at Saint Louis, he spent his first two seasons at LSU and Georgetown, respectively. He appeared in 27 games, making seven starts with the Hoyas. He scored a then-career high 19 points on the road at Providence.
As a freshman at LSU in 2021-22 and a teammate of former Blazer Eric Gaines, he helped the Tigers reach the NCAA Tournament.
Ezewiro joins Greg Gordon and Tyren Moore as transfer portal additions for the 2024-25 roster. The Blazers also signed the No. 3 JUCO player in the country in guard Jaborri McGhee.
2024-25 SEASON TICKETS
