Things to Know for Sunday’s Bartow Classic Against Memphis

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's basketball is set to host Memphis this Sunday, Jan. 28 at 4 p.m. for the annual Bartow Classic on ESPN. Memphis returns to Birmingham for the first time since 2019 and enters the contest ranked 19th in the country in the latest AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll.
The Blazers (12-7, 4-2 AAC) will take on the Tigers (15-4, 4-2 AAC) for the first time since 2019. Sunday's contest will be the 51st meeting between the two programs while Memphis holds a 39-11 lead in the all-time series.

TICKETS
Help PACK BARTOW for Sunday's game on national television. All lower bowl seating is sold out, and upper level tickets are still on sale starting at $12 by clicking here or calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1.
As part of the Bartow Classic, $2 for every single game ticket sold will benefit the Gene Bartow Fund for Cancer Research at the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Individual and corporate groups can plan an unforgettable experience during any of UAB's 18 home events this season by filling out the UAB Basketball Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season.

GANG GREEN STUDENT INFORMATION
UAB Students get in FREE to all basketball games with a valid OneCard. Show your card at the main entrance of Bartow Arena on gameday for free admission to all home games. Student tailgating is also back at each home basketball game, and a limited number of spots remain for Sunday's matchup against Memphis. Read how to claim a basketball student tailgate pass here.
MEN'S BASKETBALL ALUMNI WEEKEND
The men's basketball staff and Blazer Boosters are hosting Men's Basketball Alumni Weekend on Saturday, Jan. 27 and Sunday, Jan. 28. Former basketball student-athletes are encouraged to attend and should RSVP for event details and ticket information by contacting 205-962-0814 or emailing blazerboosters@uab.edu.
PARKING AND GATE INFORMATION
All season and single game parking lots will open two hours prior to tipoff on Sunday. Single game parking for UAB men's basketball at Bartow Arena is available in the 12th Street parking deck and Express Lot 2 for $10 on game days. ADA parking is also available on 14th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue South.
Season parking passes were available for purchase in designated lots for season ticket holders. Priority parking lots are based on the patron's designated Blazer Scholarship Fund giving level. Bartow Arena gates will open at 3 p.m., one hour prior to this Sunday's 4 p.m. scheduled tipoff.
CONCESSIONS
A reminder to fans that each concession stand within Bartow Arena will be cashless and both debit and credit cards are accepted.
Beer and wine are also available for purchase in public areas of Bartow Arena. Fans must be 21 years or older to buy alcohol and a valid ID will be checked at the time of purchase. Beer and wine sales will stop at the 10-minute mark of the second half, and fans will not be allowed to take alcohol outside of the arena during or after the game under any circumstances.
HOSPITALITY ROOMS
Blazer Boosters members with access to the Green & Gold Room and Champion Club have access to these areas beginning 90 minutes prior to tipoff. The hospitality access is designated on each game ticket and provides entry into the club area during pregame and halftime.
Gates will open 90 minutes before the scheduled tip time for Blazer Boosters members with access to the Green & Gold Room and Champion Club. Patrons with hospitality access are encouraged to enter through the main entrance of Bartow Arena or along the lower-level 14 Street South entrance.
