The American Athletic Conference Releases 2024 MBB Conference Slate

BIRMINGHAM – The American Athletic Conference released the full conference schedule for UAB men's basketball's first season in the league on Friday morning. Tip times and television designations will be released at a later date.
The 2023-24 season will mark UAB's inaugural season in the AAC and will renew old rivalries with former conference foes.
"We are excited about entering the AAC!" Head Coach Andy Kennedy said, "We look forward to the numerous challenges this league presents."
The Blazers will open the conference slate on the road at UTSA on January 2 and then return home to host South Florida for their first ever AAC home game.
UAB will be back on the road the following weekend for a showdown with 2023 national semifinalist Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton on January 14. Bartow Arena will host each of the next two contests for the Blazers against Tulane (Jan. 17) and East Carolina (Jan. 20).
On January 23, the Blazers will travel to Charlotte to take on the 49ers before returning home to renew the rivalry with Memphis on January 28.
The Blazers will then travel to the DFW area for a pair of games against North Texas (Jan. 31) and SMU (Feb. 4). UAB will then host Florida Atlantic on February 8 and travel to Tulsa on February 11.
UAB will host a pair of Texas teams at Bartow Arena when North Texas (Feb. 18) and Rice (Feb. 21) travel to Birmingham. Then, the Blazers will travel to New Orleans to face the Green Wave on Sunday, February 25.
Wichita State will travel to Bartow Arena for the first time since 1982 on February 28 as the Blazers will look for their first-ever win over the Shockers. UAB will go on the road for the next two contests at Memphis (March 3) and Temple (March 7), before closing the regular season at home against SMU (March 10).
The Blazers' game against UNC-Asheville has been moved to Friday, December 29
2023-24 SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 2023-24 UAB men's basketball season are available starting as low as $110.
