Men’s Golf Set for Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team returns to the course this Monday for the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate hosted by Arkansas State at Reflection Bay in Henderson, Nev.
The three-day tournament begins Monday, Feb. 27 and concludes on Wednesday, March 1. The field will play 18 holes each day. The course is a par 72 that plays 7,184 yards.
UAB will go up against Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Kansas City, Kentucky, Little Rock, Long Beach State, Louisiana, Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, New Mexico State, Rocky Mountain College, South Florida, Stetson and Winthrop.
Head Coach Matt Whall will field a team that includes Khavish Varadan, Ethan Hagood, Alfie Fox, Paul Bruce and Cole Imig. Freshman John Bruce will participate as an individual. UAB is paired with Kansas City and New Mexico State for the first round and Imig will tee off first at 7:10 a.m. PT.
