MBB to Host Kids Takeover Day, Baby Race

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's basketball will be hosting Kids Takeover Day against FIU at Bartow Arena on Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. CT. Kids Takeover Day is highlighted by the baby race at halftime and features a Family 4 Pack including four tickets, four popcorns and four hotdogs for just $40.
The halftime baby race will feature two races, one for crawlers, and another for walkers. The crawling category is open to babies who are comfortable crawling but aren't quite walking yet. The walking category is open to babies 24 months and younger who have advanced to moving on their feet. Both races will start at the baseline and finish at half court. The winners from each race will go home with a Blazer prize pack including a UAB T-Shirt.
Registration is limited to the first 12 entries for each race. Once the 12 spots are filled, there will be a wait list for any additional entries.
In addition to the baby race, Kids Takeover Day will feature face painting, a photo station with Blaze, a custom poster design station and a post-game autograph session on the concourse.

GROUP TICKETS AND FAN EXPERIENCE PACKAGES
Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience at Bartow Arena by filling out the UAB Basketball Group Ticket Request Form. Discounted group tickets and fan experiences are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences are available on a first come, first served basis to any home basketball game during the 2022-23 season.
