UAB Falls to South Alabama 7-0

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's tennis team's six match winning streak came to end at the hands of South Alabama on Saturday morning, 7-0.
After taking the double points, the Jaguars (8-1) got straight sets victory on Courts 2 and 4. The Blazers (6-4) fell in three sets on the remaining courts. Adela Wasserbauerova, Sydney Clarke, Enya Ratkic and Annalisa Smith all battle back after dropping their first sets.
Wasserbauerova (Court 1) and Ratkic (Court 5) each fell in a third set breaker 7-5 and 7-4, respectively.
Up next, UAB has three matches - two at George Ward Park. First the Blazers take North Alabama on March 1, followed by Alabama A&M on March 3 and the rescheduled match against Kennesaw State on March 5 on UAB's Campus Courts.
