Women’s Tennis Falls to Alabama 6-1

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The UAB women's tennis team fell to Alabama 6-1 on Saturday morning at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Center.
The Crimson Tide (3-0) took the doubles point and won in straight sets on Courts 1-5. Enya Ratkic got the lone point for the Blazers (0-3), a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Kasia Pitak on Court 6.
UAB will play their next two matches in Homewood, facing Samford on Feb. 2 and Central Arkansas on Feb. 5. UAB's home opener is Feb. 6 against Chattanooga at Lakeshore Tennis Courts.
