Žemberyová to Begin Play for Slovakia National Team

BIRMINGHAM – UAB's Laura Zemberyova will begin play with the Slovakia National Team on Thursday. Slovakia will play a pair of friendlies against Chile on June 10 and Romania on June 14. These matches will serve as preparation for the 2023 World Cup qualifications.
Zemberyova has represented Slovakia with the U17 and U19 national teams.
This past season, Zemberyova was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team. She led all C-USA freshmen with five assists and was third in C-USA among freshman and tied for 10th overall in points (11).
She led all C-USA players with six multiple point matches.
