BIRMINGHAM – After netting a hat trick and leading UAB to a 5-0 victory over North Alabama on Sunday, UAB's Lexxe Lipsey has been named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week presented by Surf & Turf Golf.
Lipsey, who leads C-USA in goals (4) and points (8), scored in the 33rd, 60th and 63rd minutes to lead the Blazers to their second consecutive victory. She recorded the three goals in 55 minutes of play.
"I am thrilled for Lexxe and the honor for her this week," said head coach Erica Demers. "She has been such a threat for us and is always looking to learn and grow her craft."
Lipsey is the first UAB player to win Offensive Player of the Week since Amy Brewer on October 9, 2017.
