Men’s Basketball Announces Tip Times, TV Schedule for 2021-22 Season

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's basketball team announced tip times and its TV/streaming schedule for the 2021-22 season on Friday morning. Tip times for all 19 of UAB's home games, including a Dec. 18 matchup against West Virginia at Legacy Arena, have been confirmed.
The Blazers will play seven games on national television during the regular season, including four games on CBS Sports Network. UAB's home matchup against West Virginia will mark its first game on CBSSN of the 2021-22 season.
The Green and Gold will also play at least one of their games at the Las Vegas Invitational on Fox Sports 1, while the Blazers' road game at Old Dominion will be broadcasted on ESPNU.
Aside from UAB's seven nationally-televised games, the Blazers will have nine of their matchups featured on ESPN3/+, six on Stadium, six on CUSA.tv and one on SEC Network+.
UAB opens its 2021 season with a home exhibition against Auburn Montgomery on Nov. 1. The Blazers will then play three straight regular season contests against UNC Asheville, Morehead State and Rhodes College at Bartow Arena beginning on Nov. 9.
Nine of UAB's 19 home games will come against Conference USA opponents, beginning with UAB's conference home opener against UTEP on Dec. 30. The Blazers conclude the regular season with a home C-USA matchup against Louisiana Tech on March 5.
Only two tip times, both road or neutral contests, have not yet been confirmed for the 2021-22 season.
