Kennedy and Chevy Donate 240 Meals to Birmingham First Responders

BIRMINGHAM – UAB head men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy, along with The Heart of Alabama Chevy Dealers, donated 240 lunches as support for the firefighters throughout Birmingham on Thursday.
Kennedy helped deliver the meals from Taco Mama, Dreamland BBQ and Full Moon BBQ to Birmingham Fire Station #2, located one block off UAB's campus. In total, four battalions and 32 fire stations throughout Birmingham received lunches today.
"It was an honor to team up with The Heart of Alabama Chevy Dealers in supporting our local fire departments," said Kennedy. "We wanted to show them a small token of our appreciation for all they do in protecting and serving our community every day."
"The Heart of Alabama Chevy Dealers are proud to partner for a second time with the UAB athletic department to help support our community's brave First Responders," said Alabama Chevy Zone Manager Pat Dubay. "Chevrolet has been committed to supporting First Responders for many years."
