UAB Places No. 41 in Helper Helper Community Service Team Challenge

The UAB women's soccer team has placed 41st in the Helper Helper Community Service Team Challenge for the period of Jan. 1 – March 16.
The Blazers had 100 percent team participation and logged 280 total hours volunteering for eight different organizations a total of 16 times.
"What a great honor for our program and our players," said head coach Erica Demers. "During a time when selflessness should be at the forefront of everyone's mind, the timing could not have been any better."

- Minor Parkway Clean-Up for Martin Luther King Day of Service
- Wheelchair basketball tournament and youth power soccer team volunteer through the Lakeshore Foundation
- Smile-A-Mile's Red Nose Ball
- Better Basics Love for Literacy Annual Gala
- Meal Packing for Children in Need in various parts of the world with Feed My Starving Children
