TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - UAB started off Saturday's neutral site match against Indiana by winning the doubles point, but only won one singles match as they fell to the Hoosiers 4-2 at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
IU won #3 doubles before Marlene Herrmann and Jana Hecking deadlocked the point at one with a 6-4 win over Caitlin Bernard and Michelle McKamey. In the decisive match, Adela Wasserbauerova and Dominika Hrabalova won a breaker 10-8 over Annabelle Andrinopou and Jelly Bozovic to give UAB the point.
In singles, Wasserbauerova was a straight sets winner over Andrinopou, 6-3, 6-4.
