Tonight: Hoops at the Hill

BIRMINGHAM – As part of the ongoing celebration of UAB's 50th anniversary, the men's and women's basketball teams will ring in the 2019-20 season during Homecoming week on Thursday, October 17 when UAB Basketball hosts Hoops at the Hill presented by the UAB Bookstore.
Hoops at the Hill will take place outside of the Hill Student Center, in parking lot 5A, located at the corner of University Boulevard and 16th Street South. The festivities begin at 5:00 PM with a Fan Fest, which includes inflatables, food trucks and autographs by the men's and women's teams.
The main event will start at 7:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public. No ticket is required for admission, and limited seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Blazer fans will have their first chance to meet both teams while being treated to a variety of entertainment including dunk and 3-point competitions as well as performances by the UAB Spirit teams.
"We are excited to bring back this unique event which is one of the best in college athletics," said head men's basketball coach Robert Ehsan. "As basketball season approaches, our team is putting in the work necessary to once again contend for a Conference USA championship."

Discounted group tickets and fan experiences are available for a minimum purchase of 20 tickets.
