UAB Travels to Kentucky to Take on No. 14 Louisville

BIRMINGHAM- Fresh off a win in its exhibition last Friday, the UAB men's soccer team will travel to Louisville, Ky. to take on No. 14 Louisville in an exhibition Saturday evening.
UAB defeated Milligan College thanks to two second half goals within a minute of each other from senior Chase Rushing and junior Brooks Stockley.
The Blazers will face a tough road test in its final tune up before the season starts. Louisville finished the 2018 season ranked in the top 16 after an NCAA Tournament appearance.
The reigning ACC Tournament Champions are picked to finish second in the ACC Atlantic Coast Division behind Wake Forest.
Both programs feature first year head coaches as Jeff Kinney and John Michael Hayden look to start the season off on the right foot.
The Cardinals have recorded a couple of preseason victories so far. They defeated a Lipscomb squad UAB will face later in the season by a score of 2-1 and No. 2 Indiana also by a score of 2-1.
The exhibition will take place Saturday at Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium in Louisville, Ky. at 6 p.m. CST. There will be no live stats or live broadcast of the game available. Final scores will be posted on twitter (@UAB_MSoc) and uabsports.com following the match.
