UAB Wraps Up Exhibition Play at Jacksonville State on Friday

BIRMINGHAM – Coming off their training session in Chattanooga, the UAB women's soccer team will play its final preseason match on Friday night at Jacksonville State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 P.M.
The game will not have a live stream, but live stats will be available from StatBroadcast. The link is available in the box on the right hand side.
Although this will not count in the head-to-head series records, the Blazers have dominated all four regular season matches against the Gamecocks. UAB has outscored JSU 19-2 including a commanding 8-0 shutout win during the Blazers' inaugural season in 1996. Last season, UAB defeated JSU 3-0 in an exhibition match.
The Gamecocks are coming off a 4-11-3 season that saw them finish 11th in the Ohio Valley Conference.
This will be the final tune-up for UAB as they head into the season-opener on Aug.22nd at Samford. UAB's first home match is Aug. 25 against College Cup participant TCU at newly renovated BBVA Field.
