BIRMINGHAM – The 2018-19 UAB men's basketball team completed their 40th season of basketball by 25th winning 20 games while advancing to the Conference USA semifinals for the first time since 2015. The Blazers wrapped up the year with a postseason berth in the College Basketball Invitational.

- Zack Bryant selected Conference USA Preseason Team
- UAB picked to finish eighth in C-USA
NOVEMBER
- NCAA declared Jeremiah Bell immediately eligible for 2018-19 season
- Blazers opens season with three straight home wins over Mercer, New Orleans and West Alabama
- Blazers make season-best 29-of-35 (82.9 percent) of foul shots against Mercer
- Tamell Pearson and Luis Hurtado make college debut against Mercer
- Lewis Sullivan records double-double of 11 and 10 against New Orleans
- UAB records program's 800thwin against West Alabama

- Blazers make season-highs 33 field goals and 48 rebounds in win over FIU
- Sullivan tied career-high with 22 points against FIU
- Blazers win four straight over UTEP, UTSA, North Texas and Rice
- UAB scores a season-high 89 points in win at Rice – 30 of those from Bryant
- Will Butler misses remaining 18 games after tearing ACL
- Gueye records double-double of 10 and 11 against UTSA
- Bryant scores 21 at Middle Tennessee

- Bryant scores 25 in Bartow Classic
- Makhtar Gueye records double-double of 12 and 12 against Charlotte
- UAB wins three straight on the road defeating Marshall, WKU and Southern Miss
- Gueye records double-double of 19 and 11 at Marshall
- Anderson McCoy make first career start at Marshall
- Bryant scores 24 at WKU
- Blazers convert 57.9 percent (11-of-19) of its 3-points attempts in win over Southern Miss

- UAB clinches a place in the top pod for C-USA Bonus Play
