Women’s Golf Concludes Round Two of C-USA Championship

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Junior Kenna Hughes moved up three spots into 13th place during round two of the Conference USA Championship at the Verandah Club in Fort Myers, Fla., on Tuesday morning.
Hughes followed her opening round 72 with a one over 73 on Tuesday and enters the final round at +1 overall and in a tie for 13th. She is nine shots off the lead which is currently held by UTSA's Ana Gonzalez at -8.
Fellow junior Tia Teiniketo also made a move up the leaderboard by equaling Hughes with a one over 73. Teiniketo jumped 12 places into a tie for 31st at +6 overall.
The Blazers enter the final round of the C-USA Championship in 12th place. Old Dominion currently has the lead (-4) over UTSA (-3) by one shot.
