Bryant Named All-Conference USA Third Team

BIRMINGHAM – UAB sophomore guard Zack Bryant has been named All-Conference USA Third Team.
Bryant leads the Blazers with 14.3 points per game, 4.0 assists per game and 1.9 steals per game. In conference play, Bryant averages 15.1 points per game, 4.3 assists per game and 1.8 steals per game.
The Hastings, Fla. native recorded career-highs 30 points in UAB's victory at Rice, 10 rebounds versus Auburn and had seven steals against Canisius.
This is Bryant's second C-USA postseason honor, as he was named to the All Rookie team in 2018.
UAB (18-13), the #5 seed, will face the #12 seed Middle Tennessee (11-20) in the First Round of the 2019 Conference USA Championship on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
