Women’s Tennis Travels to Hattiesburg to Face Southern Miss

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's tennis team looks to rebound after its first loss in six matches on Sunday when the Blazers take on Southern Miss at 11 a.m.

UAB (12-10, 1-1) is looking for its second conference victory of the season while looking for its most wins since winning 14 matches in the 2006-07 season.

Marlene Herrmann continues to be the rock for the Blazers, posting a 13-4 singles record with 12 of those victories coming at the No. 2 spot. She has also recorded nine doubles win with partner Sonia Grzywocz.
