UAB Prepares For 1 vs. 2 Showdown With Louisiana Tech

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB is in second place in the Conference USA softball standings and it hits the road this weekend to take on the number one team in the league, Louisiana Tech.
The series gets underway on Saturday, April 21 with a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. CT. Game three is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 22.
The Blazers (19-26-1, 10-4-1 C-USA) have won four-straight C-USA series including last weekends sweep of WKU and are currently on a season-long winning streak having won four games in a row. Louisiana Tech (28-17, 13-5) has won three-straight conference series, all of them sweeps, and is riding a 12-game winning streak.
