Softball Announces Fall 2026 Slate

BIRMINGHAM – Head softball coach Megan Curry has announced UAB Softball's 2026 fall schedule, marking the beginning of the Blazers' preparations for Curry's first season at the helm. UAB will compete on five dates throughout the fall, including three contests at Mary Bowers Field.
"We are really excited about our fall schedule and the opportunity to get this team on the field together," said Curry. "With a new staff and several new pieces, this fall will be important for us as we continue to build our culture, establish our identity and prepare for the spring. We are looking forward to competing and seeing our team grow throughout the fall."
UAB opens its fall slate on Friday, Oct. 16, hosting Lurleen B. Wallace Community College at 6 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field. The Blazers will hit the road the following day, traveling to Oxford, Ala., to compete in the Jacksonville State Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The Blazers return home on Friday, Oct. 23, hosting Shelton State Community College at 6 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field before welcoming Wallace State Community College on Friday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m.
UAB closes out its fall schedule on Friday, Nov. 6, with a road matchup against Northeast Alabama Community College.
All home fall contests are free admission and open to the public.
