BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – With just one weekend of non-conference play left in the 2018 season, the UAB baseball team welcomes Milwaukee to Young Memorial Field for a three-game series this weekend. Weather has altered the original schedule and now the two teams will play a double-header on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. with the final game slated for Saturday at 1 p.m. All games will be played at Young Memorial Field.
QUICK HITTERS
- UAB (5-6) is coming off of an 11-8 loss to No. 9 Auburn on Tuesday night at Regions Field
- Entering Tuesday's contest with the Tigers, the Blazers had not hit a home run. That stat was scratched as both Carter Pharis and Zack Davis hit their first long balls of the season

- Tyler Tolbert has proven himself to one of the fastest guys in the nation season as he's a perfect 7-for-7 on stolen bases this season. The sophomore ranks 21st overall in stolen bases while his 0.6 per game is good for the 26th most in the country
- Junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Wesson is one of 18 pitchers yet to yield a walk this year. Wesson has made three starts and pitched a combined 15.2 innings with 11 strikeouts, 14 hits, four runs and just two earned runs
