- Appeared in 52 games, making 52 starts
- Batted .281 with 50 hits, 28 runs 14 doubles, one triple, four home runs and 35 RBIs
- Had a .438 slugging percentage
- Posted a .981 fielding percentage with 97 putouts and four assists
- Had four three-hit contests and two three RBI games
- Drew 11 walks on the season
SENIOR SEASON (2020)
- Season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Appeared and started in 15 games
- Batted .158 with nine hits and seven runs
- Had a perfect fielding percentage with 31 putouts and one assist
JUNIOR SEASON (2019)
- Appeared in 49 games, starting in each
- Batted .330 with a team-high 61 hits, 14 doubles, three triples and eight dingers for 48 RBI
- Also swiped five bags
- Finished with a .978 fielding percentage
- Had a career day at Radford (3/2), going 4-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBI and runs scored
- The four hits were a personal best and the most by a Blazer since 2017 in UAB’s 11-8 win over the Highlanders
- Drove in a career-high four RBI in a 9-5 win over Charlotte, going 2-for-3 with a homerun and a run scored
- Went a perfect 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a stolen base against SIUE (2/16)
- Through the season-opening series sweep of SIUE, finished going 6-for-9 with three RBI and five runs scored
- Tied career high two stolen bases in a 10-8 win over Middle Tennessee (4/12)
- Named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018)
- Appeared in 35 games with 27 starts
- Scored 16 runs on 18 hits with six doubles a home run
- Hit a two-run home run to right field against Auburn (3/6) on a night where he had a career-high three RBI
- Recorded two multi-hit games with two each apiece against Alabama State (2/21) and Iowa (3/4)
- Swiped a career-high two bases against Bowling Green (2/18) helping UAB to an Opening Weekend sweep
- Set career highs in at bats, runs, hits, doubles, RBI and starts
- Named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017)
- Finished his first season with 30 games played and 15 starts
- Batted .182 on the season with a pair of home runs, nine runs, three doubles, eight RBI and seven walks
- One of only six UAB batters to tally multiple home runs and one of only two freshmen with multiple home runs
- Added three stolen bases on four attempts
- One of only two Blazers (along with Brett Blackwood) to register double-digit pinch-hitting opportunities
- Hit 4-for-12 (.333) when tasked to pinch-hit
- Collected hits in each of his first two appearances (pinch-hitting versus Creighton Feb. 18 and Feb. 19) along with his first two RBI in his second career at-bat
- Earned his first career start on Feb. 25 in left field
- First home run proved to be the game-winner versus Charlotte on April 28
- The Blazers were down 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh-inning when Davis pinch-hit, hitting the second pitch he saw over the right field wall
- Closed the season with hits in each of his final four games
- Hit .333 over the last four games with five runs, three RBI, one double, one home run and three walks
- Career-best three runs scored on May 19 versus Rice to go along with a pair of RBI
- Played for the So Cal Catch in the California Summer League with UAB teammate Jim Jeffries

- Hit .410 with four home runs and 35 RBI and was 5-0 with a 1.61 ERA as a junior
- Named to 2013-14 All-Conference baseball team
- Named to All-District Football team as wide receiver in 2012, 2013
- Coveted as a football recruit and held an offer from the Air Force Academy to play football
- Selected to the Kansas City Royals Elite Prospect Team
- Featured great athletic ability (4.5-forty yard dash, 6.8-60 yard dash) and a strong arm (88 mph) as a high schooler

- Hails from an athletic family as his father went to Nebraska on a football scholarship, played baseball for the Huskers from 1982-85, and then played professionally from 1985-88 with the Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals’ organizations
- Cole is a quarterback for North Dakota State and a member of three FCS national champion Bison teams and Jess is an outfielder for the Blazers
