UAB Travels to Boca Raton to Take on Florida Atlantic

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's soccer team will look to extend its current streak of success on Saturday when it travels to Boca Raton to take on Florida Atlantic. The match is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. CST at FAU Soccer Stadium.
The Blazers (4-6-2, 1-3-1 C-USA) are riding a two-game winning streak comprised of home victories against New Mexico and Appalachian State.
UAB has gone 216 consecutive minutes without giving up a goal, its longest-such streak since August 2017. The two successive wins have featured goals by four different Blazers, including two by sophomore forward Aidan O'Hara.
Deandre Robinson and O'Hara lead the Green and Gold in goal scoring. Each player has scored three goals on the season. UAB goalkeeper James Teal ranks among the top-five in the conference in saves, having tallied 25 for the campaign.
Florida Atlantic (2-7-0, 1-2-0 C-USA) sits in seventh place in the Conference USA standings and has lost five straight matches, with two of those coming against Conference USA opponents New Mexico and Old Dominion.
UAB (4-6-2, 1-3-1 C-USA) leads the all-time series between the two programs 5-2-0, claiming victory in their most recent meeting last season in Birmingham, 2-0.
