Blazers Open Fall Season at Austin Peay Fall Tournament

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB women's tennis team raises the curtain on its fall season this weekend when the Blazers travel to Cookeville, Tenn., to take part in the Austin Peay Fall Tournament.
"Coach Witkowski and I are really looking forward to seeing our new girls play their first college matches, while also seeing where our returning players are at," UAB head coach Mark Tjia said. "I am sure whatever excitement we are feeling is nothing compared to what the girls are experiencing. There will be several solid teams at this tournament, some of which are on our spring schedule, so it will be good to see where we are this early in the year."
