UAB Basketball Pick-Six Mini Plans on Sale Thursday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB men’s basketball Pick-Six mini plans are scheduled to go on sale Thursday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m.
UAB is offering a Pick-Six mini plan where fans can choose any six games on the Blazers’ home schedule (excluding Auburn) for $66, or a Pick-Six plan including Auburn for $96. Both Pick-Six plans can include both non-conference and conference games.
Season tickets for UAB's 17 games at Bartow Arena remain on sale for $239 to the general public and $215 to UAB employees and active members of the National Alumni Society. Blazer fans can also enjoy a limited number of season tickets in Blaze's Corner for $99 (available while supplies last).
For the first time, as an added convenience, fans can also purchase season parking passes for $75. Season parking passes will have access to either Lot 15C -- located at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 13th Street -- and Lot 15N -- located behind the steam plant on 13th street. 2016 Blazer Boosters members will have admission to donor parking on a season basis as outlined in the membership guide.
Based on availability, single game parking will also be available for $5 per game in the four lots surrounding Bartow Arena. In addition to Lot 15C and 15N, Lot 15A and Remote Lot 3 will be available on a single game basis. Lot 15A is located on 13th Street across from Bartow Arena and Remote Lot 3 can be found at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 13th Street. All parking lots will open an hour and a half prior to tipoff.
Tickets and parking passes can be purchased online or by calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office (205-975-UAB1).
Fans can enjoy their first opportunity to see the Blazers in action on Saturday for the annual Green & Gold Scrimmage. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. at Bartow Arena and admission is free.
UAB opens the season Thursday, Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against Lindenwood College before beginning the regular season Friday, Nov. 11 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Bartow Arena. The Blazers enter the 2016-17 season having won 25 straight games at Bartow Arena and own the fifth-longest home winning streak in the nation.
